Research realized by Leonid E. Grinin, Andrey V. Korotayev, and Jameelah M. Musieva examines the architecture of the new world order emerging after BRICS expansion. Vietnamese researchers Dang Minh Duc, Nguyen Bich Thuan, and Tran Xuan Hiep analyze the transformation of US policy in Latin America under the Joe Biden administration, while Petr P. Yakovlev explores the specifics of US-Venezuela relations during Donald Trump's second presidential term, as reflected in his "Donro Doctrine."

The second section reflects on certain aspects of the economic development of the Latin American region, so as the interregional relations of some countries and integration associations. Victor L. Semenov analyzes ongoing structural shifts, achievements, and challenges in the Latin American energy sector. Nikita O. Yudin and Alisa E. Shonus examine the ties between the European Union and MERCOSUR, so as the complex role of transnational corporations in this interaction. Mexican economist Jorge Alberto López Arévalo studies China’s trade relations with its largest Latin American partners, Brazil and Mexico, while Colombian scholar Joan Miguel Tejedor Estupiñán assesses the depth and legal applicability of the Free Trade Agreement signed between Colombia and the European Union.
