This issue of Iberoamérica presented to readers, consists of four sections. The first one is devoted to the economic situation and integration processes in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC). Ludmila N. Simonova and Anna A. Lavut (Russia) analyzed regional integration in the infrastructure of the region. Liudmila B. Nikolaeva (Russia) examines the achievements and challenges in the energy transition, while Nikolay A. Shkolyar (Russia) identifies the consequences of  USA protectionism for Mexican free trade and integration processes in North America as a whole.

The second section reflects various aspects of ideology and politics. Maxim V. Movsesov (Russia) analyzed the key integration paradigms of Latin America and the Caribbean –Pan-Americanism and Latin Americanism – and their evolution from their inception to the present. Elizaveta S. Golousova (Russia) and Mateo Rojas Samper (Colombia) used an analysis of vlogs, blogs, and other publications to identify common features of Russia's image in digital media landscape of Colombia. Aleksandr V. Malov (Russia) used a retrospective analysis and a comparative approach to verify the "agricultural factor," which plays a key role in economic stability and influences the sustainability of political regimes in Argentina. Ilona A. Gritsenko (Russia) also focuses on Argentina, assessing the government's policy of claiming a sector of Antarctica as its own territory.

The authors of the third section focused on legal issues in the Latin American region. Edgar Hernán Fuentes-Contreras (Chile) uses historical and etymological elements to explore the theoretical aspects of legal fetishism. Rodrigo Andrés Guerra Espinosa (Chile) and Ronald Vilchez (Peru) analyze various interpretations of the Chilean Penal Code regarding female suicide as a form of femicide.

The fourth section includes an article by art historian Anna V. Morozova (Russia), reflecting on the changes in Spanish painting of the late 16th and 17th centuries in terms of the expressive nature of images.
